Lakehills Community Center hosts a rain-or-shine day of Cajun and Zydeco music, gumbo competition, dancing, vendors, and family activities.
The 45th festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Two stages carry Cajun and Zydeco performers while competitors serve gumbo and vendors offer Cajun food, arts, crafts, and souvenirs. Admission is $15, with free entry for children ten and under.
The event documents free parking and a free shuttle from the Methodist Church satellite lot. Follow current signs and festival directions.
No general pets are permitted. The official festival rules allow service animals only.
Portable folding chairs are allowed. Outside food, drinks, ice chests, glass, alcohol, and firearms are prohibited, so review the current rules before entry.
